Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report the theft of an Elvis blanket valued at $200. She said an acquaintance had been to her residence and used the blanket to clean something. The person said they would take it home to clean it but hadn’t returned it in some time. The collector’s blanket was eventually returned to its owner.
A California man called to report he had been scammed out of $898 by a local company. He said he had bought a log frame bed but when it arrived, it was damaged. When an officer spoke to the company, they said they had repaired it and were waiting for the man’s approval to send it back, but hadn’t because he was being difficult.
A caller said he found a Ridgid table saw on Seville Lane in Coram and he wanted to know if one had been reported missing.
A dispatcher relayed information from North Valley Hospital to a woman that if she didn’t return for treatment her infection could become life-threatening.
A man carrying tires accidentally dialed 911 on his watch.
Someone reported that a person turned on a water pump and flooded the construction site of a new home in the Whitefish area. The caller suspected the neighbor may have done it.
