Rules for Posting Reader Comments

In an effort to keep reader comments suitable for family reading, we have implemented a voting system.

If 2 or more readers vote to remove a reader comment, it will be removed. When considering whether or not to vote to remove a comment, consider the following rules. Note: These are a few examples but are not necessarily a complete list of valid and invalid reasons to remove comments.

Valid reasons to remove a Reader Comment

  • Vulgar and/or obscene language
  • Personal attacks or impugning someone's character
  • Sexually explicit language
  • Racial slurs or insults or use of demeaning stereotypes
  • Marketing or commercial messages

Invalid reasons to remove a Reader Comment

  • You disagree with the comment
  • You dislike the person commenting
  • You think the author too liberal or too conservative

  • This service depends upon readers using good judgement when posting comments.
  • Any voting system requires registration. If you've registered to post comments, you can vote.
  • Voting also requires that you have not disabled cookies on your computer.
