Bigfork track records key wins at Kalispell meet

The Vikings and Valkyries capitalized on strong showings at the Kalispell Time Trials on April 8, placing fourth in the boys team standings and notching a number of top-five finishes in sprints, hurdles, and jumps.

Austin Savik was a dual threat, winning the 300-meter hurdles in 43.97 and taking third in the 110 hurdles (15.88). He also helped Bigfork’s 4x100 relay team to a fourth-place finish (45.29), teaming up with Quinn Kerr, Tayden West, and Noah Pandina.

West and Kerr also sprinted to top-10 finishes in both the 100 and 200. West clocked an 11.85 in the 100 and 24.37 in the 200, while Kerr went 11.88 and 24.53, respectively. Noah Hamilton-Dixon placed fifth in the 3200 (10:57.02), and Sean Cotman was ninth in the 800 (2:11.79).

In the field, Tamret Savik earned second in the long jump (20’4.5” PR) and won the triple jump (44’9.5”), while Noah Pandina cleared 5’10” in the high jump for fourth place. Treven Hall also contributed points in the throws, placing sixth in shot put (39’8”) and 10th in discus (106’6”).

On the girls side, Mickie Anderson scored in both hurdles events (6th in 100H, 7th in 300H), while Lillie Fussia tied for seventh in high jump (4’4”). Bigfork’s 4x100 relay placed fifth (55.06 PR), and Aspen Britt finished sixth in javelin (89’10”) and 10th in discus (78’7”).
