My Glacier Village expanding into Bigfork

My Glacier Village is a local nonprofit serving area seniors by connecting, empowering and supporting those who are aging independently in their homes.

My Glacier Village is a local chapter of the nationwide Village-to-Village Network that began on the East Coast in 2002. It was based on the concept of seniors helping seniors as they aged independently. 

Today, there are over 350 local Villages across the United States.

“Our local Village was literally created BY seniors, FOR seniors – older adults who want to stay active and engaged in their community and know they can rely on each other when they need a little help,” says Jenn Prunty, the Village’s Aging-In-Place Specialist.

The Village is currently expanding to the Bigfork and Ferndale area and they are seeking both Village members and volunteers.
