After graduating from high school she earned her teaching degree from Valley City Teacher’s College and worked as a teacher for several years in eastern North Dakota and Minnesota.

Beginning Tuesday, April 18, the city of Kalispell will begin water-line repairs to the 1000 block of South Main Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured into the parking lane area with northbound traffic being detoured into the center lane. Traffic control measures will be in place from Ninth Street to 12th Street. The repair is anticipated to be completed within the first workday, however, the detour (traffic control) will remain in place for up to four days. Motorists are encouraged to obey all warning signs and to proceed with caution.

I worked as a Superior Court clerk in San Diego with a leg brace, using a cane until I lost my eyesight in my left eye and had bathroom problems. I took a disability retirement after working 19 years. I only went on Medicaid after entering a nursing home.

Alleged bird-napper flies the coop
An alleged bird-napping was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office when a woman reportedly went to a man’s house and told him his pet birds were sick. The man told authorities that he did not know the woman, but when she offered to take his birds to a vet, he helped her load them into her car and paid her. The man said he then followed the woman to what he thought was a vet but turned out to be her house. The man said he has not gotten a further response from the woman about getting his birds back.
