My name is Roilene Gordon Jones, which I'm sure you already knew when you turned in the slash fire burning on my property on Nov. 17, 2004 to Montana. Quality Air. The fire was started on the 16th when air quality was fine. Who knew it would change over night, and have you tried to put out a fire that large that quick? You must go around and check every day after you call air quality, but that's ok because the law states if it is already burning you don't have to put it out! It was in a large pit and was the result of a forest fire protection job, removing dead and diseased trees and dead undergrowth for the protection of all the neighbors around Swan Sites.

How come you didn't report the fires burning next door, which burned for 10 days? That one included? I feel really hurt as I have stayed out of everyone else's business for 30 years and you anonymously get into mine? Shame on you! And shame on you for not letting Montana Air Quality give out your name. I should be able to face my accuser. You know who you are. The property that was being overseen by the Bigfork Fire Department and the Forest Fire Protection people wasn't even mine as I tried to help my neighbors last spring when mine was done. Here I am trying to help out a neighbor by letting them use a pit already dug, and I'm the one who gets the letter, when you came here, I'm sure you didn't like some things about the area, but we are doing fine and if you want things different go back where you came from. Your holier-than-thou attitude is not needed here. We are a friendly, caring, helping and giving community, not a back stabbing, trouble making, mind everyone else's business community. Couldn't you just as well have called me? I would have been happy to explain what was going on. Please stay out of others business and either love this area the way it is or leave it.
