Youth soccer gets a little help from friends

| December 16, 2004 11:00 PM

On behalf of the Whitefish Soccer Association, I would like to express my thanks to all the individuals and businesses that helped make our 2004 wreath fundraiser a success once again.

Although we had about 70 fewer soccer players than last year, we surpassed our 2003 sales. WYSA relies on the wreath sales for yearly expenses, namely for our share of the beautiful Smith Fields.

I would like to firstly thank Northwoods Wreath Company for being so accommodating and easy to work with and for making such wonderful wreaths that are so easy to sell.

Thank you to Top Copy printing for generously donating the printing of all the forms.

The Imagination Station has been very generous and patient in allowing WYSA to use their store as a drop-off point. We are very appreciative of the convenience.

Thanks to Pam Robinson, Alma Ramlow and Janet Beiser for assisting with the distribution of the wreaths. I am especially grateful to Lynn Hausauer for spending two days with me handing out wreaths and agreeing to take the reigns next year.

Thanks to the WYSA administrator, Laura Strong for keeping all the money straight, and to all the team parents for gathering, adding, and herding all the orders.

Thank you to the parents and players who got out and helped out WYSA by selling wreaths.

And, finally, we appreciate all individuals and businesses who bought wreaths from the players. Thank you for your support of Whitefish Soccer!
