Judy (Ramlow) Neer

Judy (Ramlow) Neer passed away in Chariton, Iowa, on July 3, 2004, after a lingering illness of Lou Gehrig disease.

She was born in Whitefish on Sept. 2, 1951, the daughter of Russ and Mary Ellen Ramlow.

Judy graduated valedictorian of her class at Whitefish High School. She graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., in 1973 with a degree in home economics. She taught school in eastern Montana, where she met her husband to be. On June 27, 1974, she married Greg Neer. The Neers lived in Alameda, Calif., where Greg served out his service time in the U.S. Navy. They moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., where Greg attended the Nazarene Bible College, then entered the ministry and served as pastor in the following places: Ankeny, Iowa; Glenwood, Iowa; Minot, North Dakota; Clare, Mich., Kalispell, Oakes, North Dakota, and Chariton, Iowa.

Judy is survived by her husband, Greg, daughter and son-in-law, Emmanual and Janelle Reinbold, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sarah Neer, and daughter, Gina; her parents, Russ and Mary Ellen Ramlow, sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ed Pemble, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Alma Ramlow, and five nephews.

Funeral services were held in Chariton, Iowa, with burial in Williston, North Dakota.
