CLIMB Big Mountain slated Aug. 7

Mark Aug. 7 on your calendar for the annual CLIMB Big Mountain fund-raiser for Flathead Industries, to help people with disabilities. It's a five-mile hike up the Danny On Trail, an eight-mile bike trip up the Summit Trail or a gondola ride to the top of Big Mountain for a celebration.

For registration information and pledge forms, call Flathead Industries at 755-7656.

Christmas trees help youth

raise money

Montana youth sports will have an opportunity this Christmas season to raise money for their athletic teams by selling Christmas trees from Oregon's Willamette Valley.

"We believe that Operation Montana Youth Christmas is a unique and special way for us to help nurture and support the young minds and bodies of Montana's athletic teams, while raising money for uniforms, equipment and travel," said Joseph Sharp of Yule Tree Farms.

The Noble Fir is a lush, blue-green, fresh forest-scented tree with upturned soft needles and stiff branches. Call toll-free (877) 843-5600 or go to www.yuletreefarm.com.

Just show up on Aug. 28 and sign up at the range. Call Big Sky Sporting Clays at 883-2000.
