Heritage hoops tourney another big success

The Heritage Days 3-on-3 basketball tourney was another big hit, with more than two dozen teams participating.

In the 5-6 grade division, the Big Sky Waterslide girls team, made up of Allie Lampman, Erika Hill, Danielle Gilley and Kayla Stratton, took first place. The Knights of Columbus Rebels took first place for the boys, made up of Ryan Logan, Kevin Koeller, Royce Hansen and Mike Barnhart.

For the 7-8 grade girls, it was the Special K Productions Jungle Monkeys who took first, made up of Falina Kamrud, Brittany White, Morgan Rose and Karly Skindingsrude. For the boys, the CFAC Salois team, with Dan Salois, Colt Ido and Tyler Hawkins, brought home the gold.

At the high school level, the girls first place team was Jessica Davis, Kate Marcille, Bekah Stoltz and Dani Herman on the Knights of Columbus Smelly Cats. The RE/MAX Mountain Pretty in Pink boys team took first, led by Croy Smith, Robbie Dakin, Kevin Boyer and Steffen Anderson.

In the men's category, the Alpine Family Medicine team, made up of Derek and Troy Gedlaman, Craig Aasved and Mark Sherman, took first place.
