CC teams run in time trials

The Columbia Falls High School cross country teams participated in the Kalispell time trials this weekend, an unscored practice meet.

For the Wildcats, senior team captain Dalvin Averill finished with the best time, running a 19:21, followed closely by team co-captain junior Brian Merseal with a 19:47.

Addie Houle led the Wildkats with a 25:24, with senior team captain Jessica Dedman finishing next in 25:48.

Junior Michael Taylor ran a 20:48, freshman Tripp Gimbel a 21:03, senior Jack Scherman a 21:50, senior Jaffe Wilde a 22:06 and freshman Jeremiah Howland a 24:46.

Sophomore Britney Mickelson finished with a 25:50 for the girls, sophomore Chelsey Marjerrison ran a 27:15, senior co-captain Nellie Lutz a 27:27, freshman Laura Burgi a 28:32, senior Dana Gross a 28:38, sophomore Cami Spencer a 36:18, sophomore Danielle Dorman a 38:12 and freshman Christal Forke a 38:22.

The first meet of the season will be this Saturday at Libby.
