On Monday, Dec. 5, I was stranded when I drove into four feet of snow in a whiteout, after leaving a fabulous day of skiing at Big Mountain.
Many thanks to "Susan" and her two children, who were brave enough to stop and drive me and my dog up to the ski village in such challenging conditions.
Also thanks to the great help I got from the AAA tow truck driver, Rob Deandre, from Don K Chevrolet.
Additionally, many folks, especially the staff at the Big Mountain Village store, "Link" (a ski school instructor) and an unknown member of the Flathead Search and Rescue, kindly offered their support.
Thanks for the great support.
