Leonard Conrad Larsen

Leonard Conrad Larsen passed away peacefully on Jan. 25, at age 74 in Seattle, Washington. He was born June 3, 1930 in Whitefish to Leonard C. Larsen, Sr. and Ada McLaughlin Larsen.

After graduating from Whitefish High School in 1948, Len attended Montana State University and the University of Washington, graduating from the UW in 1952 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a second lieutenant's commission through the UW Air Force ROTC program. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1954, and married Mary Jo Lindsay in 1954. He also began his career in aeronautical engineering in 1954 working for the Boeing Company. He retired in 1996 after 42 years as an engineer and salesman in the commercial airline industry, most recently with Kamatics Corporation.

Len was a wise and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Len is survived by his wife of 50 year, Mary Jo Larsen, and four children: Mary Kay Talbot (Dave), Karen Teresa Jacobsen (Jake), Joanne Fitzmorris, Leonard Conrad III (Mark Klungland); and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Lynn in 1985. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
