Columbia Falls basketball meets its "real" season this week. Which is to say, the start of conference play.

All those other wins and losses go out the window.

Both the girls and the boys are on the road today (Jan. 6) for games at Libby.

Then they're back home for a game Friday night against rival Whitefish.

Game time for the girls is 6:30 p.m. Gametime for the boys is 8 p.m.

The boys head into the week hot-they have yet to lose a game, while the girls are 4-1.

The frosh teams faced Whitefish on Monday. The boys beat Whitefish 48-20. Top scorers were Karsten Peterson, 12, Chase Fairbank, eight and Jordan Thompson with six.

The girls lost a close one to the Bulldogs, 53-49. Top scorers were Colyne Hislop, 12, Sarah Marcille with 10 and Kate Anderson with nine.
