The Columbia Falls Women's Connection will meet March 15 at 9:30 a.m. at Los Caporales. Cost is $7 for brunch.

TU meets

The Flathead Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its March meeting at Fenders Restaurant on U.S. Highway 93 March 15 at 7 p.m. Guest this month will be Dave Brown, of The Elk River Angler/Alberta Bird Hunts. Brown will give a fly-tying demonstration and will also give a presentation on fly fishing in southeast British Columbia and Alberta. The public is invited.

Spiritual theater

Community Spiritual Cinema will show Mother Ghost at 7 p.m. March 12 at the North Valley Community Center and Changing Hearts at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Glacier Unitarian Universalist Fellowship building.

Choir concert

The Columbia Falls Community Choir will have its annual concert at the Columbia Falls High School at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 12, in the high school's Little Theater.

Pancake breakfast

The Columbia Falls Lions Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center March 19. The menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Cost is $3.50 for adults, $3 for youths 12 and under, or $12 per family. Tickets are available from any Lion member or at the door.

Softball sign-ups

Columbia Falls girls softball sign-up forms are at Glacier Bank, Whitefish Credit Union and First Citizens Bank. Forms are due by March 13.

3-on-3 tourney

A 3-on-3 hoops tourney for young folks is scheduled for March 18-20 in Whitefish. Cost is $60 per team. Call 862-0781 to have a form mailed to you.

Student of the week

Jessica Pepperling, a junior at Columbia Falls High School, has been selected Student of the Week for March 7. She was nominated because she is a very ambitious student. She works six days a week at the Crow's Nest before attending class during the school week and still maintains high grades. Jessica is the daughter of Tad and Christie Pepperling, of Columbia Falls, and receives a personal pan pizza compliments of Pizza Hut.

Ballers vs. brawlers

The high school basketball team will wrestle the wrestlers and the wrestlers will play them in basketball in a senior class fundraiser at 7 p.m. March 17 at the Columbia Falls high school.

Kloggers meet

Kalispell Country Kloggers.  beginner class starts April 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kalispell Eagles for folks interested in learning this dance. For more information call Linda 892-3466
