Profanity not appreciated

| April 12, 2006 11:00 PM

I am very disappointed that what used to be a family-friendly community newspaper is turning into an R-rated second-class rag. I noticed months ago that the Pilot chose to run an ad with a woman wearing nearly nothing. There are certain publications where this could be considered appropriate, but a newspaper isn't it.

Then, in your March 30 edition, on the front page of the Town and Country section, you chose to include a needless profanity that added nothing to the story of the retired minister.

That kind of language is unacceptable in a newspaper.
