Jeffery Marrott

Jeffery Steven Marrott, 32, passed away Jan. 29, 2006, at his home in Whitefish.

He was born May 30, 1973, in Provo, Utah, to Thomas M. and JoDeen (Nielson) Marrott. Jeff received his education in Utah, graduating from Independence High School in 1991.

He worked at various jobs before moving to Boulder, Colo., where he lived for a time. On April 20, 1997, Jeff married Sandra Riley in Las Vegas. Back in Provo, Jeff worked in construction before beginning his career in the printing industry in 1998. The family moved to Whitefish in 2003, when Jeff went to work for Resource Label Group.

Jeff was an avid camper, hiker, fisherman and cook. He was a very hard worker and was well loved by all who knew him. Jeff had a very special relationship with his paternal grandmother.

Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandfather, one aunt and two uncles.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy, of Whitefish; a daughter, Syrria; a son, Skyler; his parents, Tom and JoDeen, of Orem, Utah; two brothers, Kenneth, of St. George, Utah, and Thomas, of Orem, Utah; his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Marrott, of Orem; and many other relatives.

Memorial services were held Feb. 1, 2006, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Whitefish, with Bishop Mark Hudson presiding. Additional services will be held in Orem, with burial in the Orem City Cemetery.
