Hoops camp
The annual Columbia Falls youth hoops camp is July 10-14 for grades 3 through 12. Grades three through five are 10-noon; grades 6-8 1 to 4 p.m. and grades nine to 12, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $40, less $5 per each additional child. Call 892-7731 or 756-5869 for more information.

Concert tonight
The Lions Club Concert series continues tonight (Thursday) at Marantette Park in Columbia Falls with Montana Midnight. Concerts start at 8 p.m. with a donation accepted at the gate. Next week's concert, July 13, is the Flathead Ragtime Orchestra and the Rocky Mountain Rhythm Kings.
Collage workshop
A sculptural collage workshop is planned at the Columbia Falls Library for teens from 8 to 10 p.m. July 15. Ages 12-18 welcome. Call 892-5919 for more information or to sign up.

Hearing support
WA-CHU-SAY support group for the hard of hearing will be conducting a special meeting this month regarding Cochlear Implants. Cochlear Implants are devices that have been developed for people with severe to profound hearing loss so that they can more successfully interact with the hearing community around them. The meeting is Tuesday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 400 West California St. in Kalispell.
Quilt auction
The St. Ignatius Amish Quilt and farm auction is July 8 starting at 8 a.m. Event on Foothills Road includes high quality, American Amish made items that are made by the Old-Order Amish in Montana and from other Amish settlements throughout the United States.
Horsemen meet
The Back Country Horsemen of the Flathead will hold their annual potluck picnic and a brief monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m., at Lone Pine State Park. Please bring a main dish and dessert or salad to share.
Bird outing
Join Flathead Audubon on a day-long summer birding tour of the Mission Valley on Sunday, July 9. Participants will drive up and over Red Sleep Mountain Drive on the National Bison Range.
