Stepping forward

I would like to express my appreciation to all of the Flathead County officials and employees who had the courage to step forward over the last 15 months to request my assistance in attempting to arrest the myriad of financial and managerial crises facing county government.

My family and I really do care. Why else would I leave an employment package that provides many, many times the financial compensation that a county commissioner makes and spend 11 weeks knocking on almost 5,000 doors asking for help?

I'm told that insanity is not an excuse. However, my efforts fell short, and I apologize for that shortcoming.
