All star game
The Babe Ruth all-star team will take on the Glacier Twins' A team on June 29 at Memorial Field, starting at 7 p.m.
The face-off is a fund-raiser to help pay for the Babe Ruth team's trip to the state tournament in Helena July 19-23. The suggested donation to watch the game is $3 for adults and $1 for children. Concessions will be open.
Concert tonight
The Lions Club Concert series continues tonight (Thursday) at Marantette Park in Columbia Falls with Left Over Biscuits, a Blue Grass Group. Next week's concert is July 6 with Montana Midnight. Concerts start at 8 p.m. with a donation accepted at the gate.
Collage workshop
A sculptural collage workshop is planned at the Columbia Falls Library for teens from 8 to 10 p.m. July 15. Ages 12-18 welcome. Call 892-5919 for more information or to sign up.
Coram water

Kavanagh graduates
Logan Kavanagh of Coram recently graduated with honors from the Montana State University School of Business with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Kavanagh is a Columbia Falls graduate and the daughter of Bill and Kristin Kavanagh.
Goeden graduates
Ryan Goeden has graduated from Whitman College with a degree in economics. He is the son of Jeff and Robbie Goeden of Columbia Falls.
