Lutefisk dinner

Public is invited to a lutefisk dinner Saturday, May 20, at North Valley Senior Center, Columbia Falls. Price is $10 per person with serving from 4 until 7 p.m. Proceeds will help finance Center expenses. More details may be obtained by calling Gladys Shay, 892-5070.

Awards night

Columbia Falls High School will hold its annual Awards Night ceremony Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. in the high school Little Theatre. Numerous scholarship program representatives will be on hand to present their awards to the Columbia Falls High School Class of 2006. Community kitchen

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving free meals beginning Sunday, May 28, through Wednesday, May 31, in the basement of St Richard's Catholic Church at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Toastmasters

The next Columbia Falls Toastmasters meeting is June 5 from 11 a.m.- noon. The meeting will be on Monday due to the primary elections taking place on Tuesday.

Quilt Guild meets

Teakettle Quilt Guild meeting will be held at the Columbia Falls Community Center, 235 Nucleus Avenue, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 20. New members and guests are welcome.

‘66 reunion

The Class of 1966 is having its 40th year reunion over Heritage Days. A meeting on the reunion is May 20 at 10 a.m. at Sunrise Bakery.

Carnival

Deer Park School will hold a Spring Carnival Saturday, May 20 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Games and prizes for all ages. There will be a bake walk and bingo. Also silent auction for adults. Proceeds will support completion of the playground.

Bird outing

Join Flathead Audubon for a day of spring birding at the Lost Trail National Wildlife Refuge on Sunday, May 21. Meet to carpool at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks building on 490 N. Pachyderms meet

Glacier Country Pachyderm meeting will be held from noon-1 p.m. at the Bulldog in Kalispell Friday, May 19. The guest speakers will be the Republican commissioner candidates for the upcoming primary election. Lunch is $9 and the meeting is open to the public and the media.
