Cornelia Kelsey

Cornelia I. "Corky" Kelsey, age 75, passed away Nov. 5, 2006, at the Colonial Manor in Whitefish.

She was born in Kalispell on Jan. 28, 1931, to Ringer and Hendrika Keyser, immigrants of Holland. While still an infant, they moved to Whitefish, where she lived until her passing.

Corky's children and grandchildren were the love of her life, as were any stray cats that made their way to her doorstep.

Corky was preceded in death by her husband Bud Kelsey and parents Ringer and "Rika" Keyser.

She is survived by four children, Dixie Bergeson and husband Doug, of Whitefish, Jeanette Krueger and husband Sonny, of Olney, Patty Ross and husband Jim, of Kalispell, and Cory Kelsey and wife Liz ,of Whitefish. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her brother Peter Keyser, of California.

Graveside service took place Nov. 10, 2006, at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Kalispell.
