Columbia Falls Lions Club will be sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Marantette Park on Sunday, April 8 at 1 p.m.

The Canyon Community Church will have its Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m. April 8 at the educational building. J.J. the clown and face painting will also be part of the event. Call 387-9452 for more information.

Meth talk

GOP meets
The Glacier Country Pachyderm meeting is noon to 1 p.m. at the Bulldog in Kalispell Friday, April 13. The guest speaker will be Roger Nasset, Kalispell Chief of Police. Lunch is $4 to $10 and the meeting is open to the public and the media. The Pachyderm will start weekly meetings beginning April 20.
Grad party

Motocross
The annual Mountain Madness Motocross in Hungry Horse is April 28 and 29. Register April 27 from 6-9 p.m., or 6:30 to 8 a.m. April 28, 29. Races start at 8 a.m. Fees are $30 for experts, $20 for beginners. Gate is $10 for the weekend. Children under 12 with parent get in free. No alcohol, please. This is a family event, sponsored by the Kiwanis here.
Pancake breakfast
The Lions Club pancake breakfast is from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 14 at the Columbia Falls Senior Center.
Community prom
The Flathead Valley Community prom is in the Columbia Falls gymnasium is from 8 to 11 p.m. April 20. Music provided by the Don Lawrence Orchestra. This is the 16th year of the event.
