Jody Smith

Jody Alene Smith, 46, died tragically at her home in Hungry Horse on Dec. 9, 2007. Jody is now living with the Lord, and will be greatly missed by her family and all her Canyon friends that she considered family.

She was well known for her generosity, love and caring of so many around her. Jody loved to sew and was especially known for the pillow quilts she made for family and friends. She also made her quilts for donations throughout the Canyon.

Jody loved her home in Hungry Horse, loved Montana, but she will rest in peace in Spokane, Wash.

Jody is survived by her only child, son Joe Putman of St. Maries, Idaho; mother Marie Leming, Medical Lake, Wash.; sister Linda Stahl, Peru, Ind.; brothers Jim, Jerry and Danny Leming, all of Medical Lake; brother Bob Leming of Bend, Ore.; sister Diana Milich and her husband, Dale, also of Medical Lake; nephews and nieces Marcus, Carly, Lucas, Josh, Zach, Shiana and Bryce; and all of her Canyon friends.

No funeral services were announced.
