Scott Yogoszinski, of Whitefish, was selected as an alternate to play for the Montana football team in the 2007 Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl to be played at Whitney Stadium in Dickinson, N.D., on June 16.

Kali Schmidt, a senior at Whitefish High School who helped the Bulldogs win three straight Class A state volleyball titles, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball with the University of Great Falls. The Lady Argos made the NAIA regional finals last season.

Flathead Valley Community College will offer a Tai Chi class for beginners starting March 6. The class will focus on health, relaxation, stretching and breathing with a historical and philosophical background. The class will take place on Tuesdays, March 6 through April 24, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The cost to enroll is $39. For information or to register, call 756-3832.
