The Glacier Twins were a hitting machine this week, defeating three of four teams they played in the non-conference Canadian Days Tournament.
The Twins beat the Cranbrook, B.C., Rocky Mountain Bandits, 3-2, 10-runned Edmonton, Alberta, Sherwood Park 13-0, and 10-runned Trail, B.C., West Kootenai 10-0.
But the Twins lost to the Kalispell Lakers, 4-12, after the Lakers revved-up their game in the fifth and sixth innings.
"I enjoyed it. It's a good chance to get everybody in and try some new things," Twins coach Jarod Grubb said of the tournament.
"Scott Yogodzinski pitched a no-hitter on Saturday," he said. "Justin Collom also pitched Saturday in our second game. He pitched a one-hitter. Those were the big standouts."
The games were played at Griffin Field in Kalispell.
The Twins played the Lakers for the second time Wednesday, but results were not available at presstime. It was the Twins first conference game.
On Friday, the Twins will play in the Army-Navy Wood Bat Tourney.
