A threatening note was found last Thursday afternoon, Nov. 1, in a Bigfork High School bathroom listing three students under "People to kill." There are no suspects at this time.

The note was found written on a piece of toilet paper, according to Superintendent Russ Kinzer, and an investigation is ongoing.

Administrators and the School Resource Officer checked video footage of the hallway since the time a custodian had last cleaned the bathroom. They interviewed about 40 students in an attempt to learn more about the note.

The three students listed were asked not to attend school Friday, which they did not," Kinzer said.

"An investigation like this takes a methodical approach," he said. "It's not something to downplay, but you need to have a measured response."

Kinzer said administrators will continue their investigation and employ disciplinary action if a student is found.
