The O'Shaughnessy Foun-dation has done it again.

Whitefish is very fortunate to have people like Ched and Rebecca Lyman living here, and their latest philanthropic endeavor is even more proof of their love for this community.

Through the I. A. O'Shaughnessy Foundation, the Lymans have made a pledge to the Whitefish Middle School Auditorium and Performing Arts Center in the amount of $250,000.

This takes the fundraising effort to more than $4.4 million dollars. But even more important, it completes the $1 million in matching funds for the Atkinson's $500,000 challenge issued in January.

The fundraising team is making great progress toward the final goal of $5.3 million. If you would like to make a pledge (one to four years) or talk to one of the team, please call 862-7591.

This is a critical project for the kids of Whitefish, and if you haven't seen the completed auditorium or heard a performance there, you are missing out on something really special.
