Dorothy Moreno

Dorothy Gray Teunissen Moreno, 72, passed away Sept. 20, 2007, in Cackamas, Ore.

She was born on April 28, 1935, in Titusville, Pa. She grew up in Whitefish and raised her family in Manteca, Calif., for 36 years and then lived in Hawaii for 13 years. She was living in Oregon City, Ore., for the past year.

She retired from Outrigger Hotels as an executive secretary in 2002. She enjoyed her family, traveling and cruising in her earlier years, crocheting, cooking, playing on her computer and reading, and her favorite color was blue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Florencio Reno Moreno, and her parents, Leon and Mabel Gray.

Dorothy is survived by her children Lynn Vierra, of North Carolina, Gregg Teunissen, of Manteca, Sue Smith and husband Nile, of Iowa, Gary Teunissen, Judy Foster and her husband Rod, of Vacaville, Calif.; stepchildren Sammy Moreno and Larry Moreno; siblings Betty Blades, of Longview, Wash., Richard Gray, of Randle, Wash., and Gordon Gray and wife Ginger, of Clarkston, Wash.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held at Manteca Presbyterian Church on Oct. 6, 2007.
