Florence Cummings

Florence Frances Cummings, a longtime resident of Whitefish, passed away March 19, 2008.

Born and raised in Walkerville, Florence married Robert James Cummings on Aug. 8, 1953. They moved to Whitefish in 1955 where they raised their children, son James and daughter Joani.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert.

Florence is survived by her children Jim Cummings, of Boise, Idaho, and Joani Cummings, of Stevensville; nephew John Osborne, of Twin Bridges; grandchildren John Timmons, Casy Allison) Timmons, Jim Cummings and Michael Cummings; great grandchildren Kestin, Tyra, Casy and Cain Timmons; and extended family in Slovenija.

A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
