Martin Marty Wayne Gemmer, 59

Martin Marty Wayne Gemmer 59 went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, April 4, 2008. He died in his home of natural causes.

Marty was born September 20,1948 in Mt. Vernon Washington to Quenton and Jennie Gemmer. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1966, the University of Washington with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 1970, followed by a Bachelor of Theology Degree from the Bible College of Burien, Washington , in 1974.

It was in Bible College that Marty met the love of his life, Connie Moser. They were married August 4, 1973. Marty and Connie moved to the Flathead in January 1982 to be the Music Ministry Director of their church. For the past 20 years he has worked as a Farmers Insurance Agent.

Marty loved coaching softball, music and especially people. He always had time to listen, talk and help people. He gave unselfishly of his time and talents.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jennie and is survived by his wife Connie Gemmer and daughter Damaris Brooke at the family home in Kalispell, along with his son Blair Reynold Gemmer of Missoula.

Most of all Marty loved the Lord. He had A Call to Unity Broadcast on KALS radio. In recent years he made several trips to Bulgaria with his family to do Ministry and Mission work with the Gypsies, where he left a piece of his heart.

A service to celebrate Martys life will be held at the New Covenant Fellowship Wednesday April 9 at 1p.m., followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gemmer family at the New Covenant Fellowship.

Gloria Dorthea Danberg, 78

Raised in San Francisco's "Butcher Town", Gloria was the youngest of five children born to Roy and Tilly Hannah, she was 78. Gloria met the love of her life, George (Karl) Danberg in 1945. They married in February 1949 and had a lasting love affair for over 59 years. An avid golfer, Gloria was the winner of countless tournaments and was Contra Costa Country Club's Champion for much of the 1970's and 80's.

Gloria was surrounded by her loving family at her time of passing, she is survived by her devoted husband George, daughter Susan (and husband Keith Laverty) of Bigfork. Daughter Karen Danberg of Concord, CA and son David and his wife Teresea Danberg of Oakley, CA. She is the adoring grandmother of Jamie, Michael, and Rachael and the proud great grandmother of Alexa Hodge. Gloria is also survived by her loving sister Josephine Perini of Forestville, CA.
