| August 7, 2008 11:00 PM

Two Bigfork High School juniors, Jade Bosic and BreeAnn Bunyea, both 15, recently returned from Europe and a three week adventure as "Student Ambassadors" with the "People to People" delegation which was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. They had the opportunity to visit, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland.

Each one of the 40 students (from Montana and North Dakota) spent three days with their own host family in Germany. This provided both a cultural and educational experience, including going to school with the host family's child to a German school.

Other events included meeting a British Member of Parliament, visiting the Tower of London, riding the London Eye, visiting the War Memorial Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Palace Versailles, Menin Gate memorial, the International Court of Justice, the home of Anne Frank, the Black Forest, river rafting on the River Inn as well as many other exciting adventures.

Jade Bosic is the daughter of William and Julia Bosic and BreeAnn Bunyea is the daughter of Steve and Lori Bunyea.

This was BreeAnn's first trip, however Jade is an Alumni of the "People to People" student ambassador program having participated two years ago on a trip to Australia. Additionally Jade just received an invitation by Mary Eisenhower (granddaughter of President Eisenhower and CEO of "People to People" program) to join her and the "People to People" delegation to attend the Inauguration of the next President in Washington D.C. in January 2009.
