Kay Landon

| August 7, 2008 11:00 PM

Kay Landon left our world to venture to a special place in heaven on July 24, 2008.

She was born May 26, 1940. Her life touched many people and she was loved by all that knew her.

The staff at North Valley Hospital took very special care of her, and her family wishes to give them a special thank you for making her last days on this earth easier and also for helping the family feel comfortable and cared for.

Kay was a dedicated person and had a very unique and special love for animals. She was instrumental in getting a heater and much needed donations for the Spay and Neuter Clinic.

She had been involved with the Glacier Twins while her son played and never missed a game.

The Whitefish Soroptimists played a very important part in her life, and she kept the lists and members organized and always up to date.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Landon and wife Shanee, of Columbia Falls, and Danny Landon and his friend Nikki, of Whitefish; granddaughter Briann, of Columbia Falls; her special pets Shadow, Stitch and Misty; and numerous extended family and friends. Kay will truly be missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of her life took place at the Golden Agers in Whitefish on Aug. 1, 2008.
