The Whitefish boys basketball team picked up a conference win over Bigfork at home on Friday night, outscoring the Vikings, 65-36.

Colt Idol had a big night, finishing with 22 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

"We started out slow, but we picked it up after halftime," head coach Eric Stang said.

The Bulldogs went into halftime with only a three-point lead on the Vikings, who are ranked last in Northwestern A.

The Bulldogs drained 25 points in the third quarter however, to take a commanding lead.

"These last few conference games are crucial," Stang said. "We just have to make sure we take care of business, because every game counts down the stretch."

Senior Bulldog Aaron Tkachyk tied with teammate Shawn Watterud for a game-high 12 points.
