The local members of the U.S. National Telemark Team would like to thank our community for your continued support. Five of the 13 members of the national team live here in the Flathead Valley and train at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Recently a fundraiser was held at the Great Northern Bar to raise money for us to travel this weekend to Nationals at Tamarack Resort in Idaho and then to World Cup Finals at Sugarbush, Vt., in March. Many of us have already spent January racing in Europe.

Thank you, Whitefish Mountain Resort, for your financial support and for your role as an official training site for the team. Thanks to Don Bestwick and Northern Physical Therapy for getting us into shape for the season. Big Sky Brewing Co. in Missoula is a major sponsor of our organization, and we really appreciate their support. Many of us have personal sponsors as well who support us and we couldn't travel and compete without their contributions.
