Dennis Young

Dennis G. Young, 56, Hungry Horse, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008. He was born Sept. 15, 1951 in Modesto, Calif., to Bill and Edna Young.

Dennis served in the Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971. He was married to Darlene Hitchcock and had two children, Thelma and Nancy.

Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing and drinking beer with good buddies. We love and miss you, "Big D."

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna, and his step-mother, Vivian.

Dennis is survived by his father, Bill; brothers, Billy and Greg; three sisters, Kathy, Phillis and Carrie; best friends, Bob and Shirley Knight, and Don and Darlene Knight; nephews, Ryan, Danny, Joseph, Jeremiah, Lucas and Nicholas; and nieces, Regina, Cindy and Sarah.

Visitation was Thursday, July 17 and a funeral service was held Friday, July 18, both at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery with military graveside honors.

Arrangement were with the Columbia Mortuary.

F. Marlene Henson

F. Marlene Henson, 65, Columbia Falls, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 16, 1943 in Escondido, Calif. She was raised and educated in Escondido.

Marlene was a homemaker and pastor's wife.

She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ed Henson of Columbia Falls; children, Pam Barnes and her husband, Kenny, of Harrisburg, Ill., Jeff Donnelly and his wife, Katherine, of Los Cruces, N.M., Kelli Smith and her husband, John of Harrisburg, Ill., Joe Henson of Illinois, and Shannon Henson and his wife, Kelly, of Columbia Falls; grandchildren, Mary Rose, Kendra, Kenny, Jeffrey, Nickie, Willie, Meghyn, Ashley, Stephanie, Brandan and Levi; great-grandchildren, Callie, Cheyenne, Roxanne and Lydia; brother, Dean Tanner of Kingman, Ariz.; and two sisters, Lynn Stamm and Renee Matson of Escondido, Calif.

Visitation was Sunday, July 20 at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.

A funeral service was held, Monday, July 21 at the Fellowship Alliance Church in Columbia Falls. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
