Relay for Life fundraising potty pilfered
By ALEX STRICKLAND/Bigfork Eagle
Glacier Bank's purple, star-studded toilet — a fundraiser for the Relay for Life — has gone missing.
The cosmic commode was taken from in front of Trails West Eagle Bend Realty on June 10, where it had been dropped after a stint at Medi-Lift. Trails West employees never saw the hard to miss bathroom equipment the next morning, as bandits had already made off with it.
Glacier Bank's purple privy was placed in front of businesses with a sign that stated a $5 donation to the Relay for Life would get the offending chamber pot removed, $5 more and the business could choose the next recipient of the extra office seat and finally, $5 on top of that would insure that the can never came calling again.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the wayward water closet should call Glacier Bank at 837-5980. Tipsters will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
The Relay team is currently constructing a new fundraising throne, which should start cropping up at area businesses in the next few days.
