The Glacier Twins gave up a lead and ended up losing a one-run heartbreaker to the Great Falls Electrics in Game one of a doubleheader Tuesday, and that was the closest they came to getting a victory on the road.

The final score was 8-9 in favor of the Electrics.

Great Falls took the momentum from their rally in the first game and used it to blow the doors off the Twins in the second game 19-6.

It was the second American Legion Baseball Western Class AA doubleheader for the Twins (9-13 overall, 0-7 conference) in Great Falls.

They were swept by the Great Falls Stallions on Monday.

They will be on the road visiting the Mission Valley Mariners on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Electrics 9, Twins 8

Great Falls scored four runs in the seventh inning to come back from an 8-5 deficit to beat the Twins.

Dustin VonFeldt went 4-for-4 from the plate with two RBIs and a double. Scott Palmer, Ran Caron, Scott Yogodzinski, Bridger Beach and Zane Ridings each had one hit.

Zane Ridings was solid on the plate, allowing only 10 hits, and only five through the first six innings.

Ryan Caron had a three run home run for the Glacier Twins in the first inning of the second game, and his team managed 10 hits on Great Falls, but it wasn't enough to silence the bats of the Electrics.

The Twins had a 5-0 lead after the first inning, but they woke up a sleeping giant.

The Electrics scored an unbelievable 16 runs in the second inning to put the game on ice.

Glacier committed five errors in the second inning, which didn't help things, and the game was over after just three innings due to the mercy rule.

Scott Palmer led Glacier with three hits, and Caron had two.

Cody Elek had one hit and an RBI.

Scott Yogodzinski, Bridger Beach, Dustin VonFeldt, and Michael Hader each one hit for the Twins.
