Firefighters kick off campaign

As another busy summer approaches the Whitefish area, we firefighters have some growing concerns.

Throughout the last few years, the staffing level we retain has struggled to keep up with the increased number of emergency runs. If this issue is not addressed soon, we feel we will no longer safely be able to respond to the community's needs.

Throughout the next few months, we invite you to join us on a campaign to increase service personnel. Our goal is to implement a shift that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Currently, we don't have the personnel to staff the fire hall between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Please take the time to stop by and tour the station or ask questions as we kick off this public awareness campaign.
