Michael Richards, 64, died Sept. 25, 2008, at his home in Cle Elum, Wash., in the presence of his wife Ginny and daughter Heather after a nearly five-year battle with cancer.

Michael was born April 28, 1944, to Elsa and Donald Richards in Seattle Wash. After finishing graduate school in the 1970s he relocated to Whitefish, where he met Ginny and they were married.

Michael loved his family immensely, especially supporting his children and taking care of his wife. He also enjoyed golfing, skiing, fishing, and taking walks with his family.

Michael's enduring support of his family will be missed incredibly. His optimism and kindness touched everyone who was blessed to know him.
