Toni Foster
Toni Rae Foster, 61, passed away Sept. 3, 2008.
Toni was born on Christmas day, 1946, to Ray Foster and Mitzi Bernard, in Whitefish. Her sister Teri joined the family in 1948. She attended grade school in Whitefish and later graduated from Central High School in St. Paul, Minn.
In 1965, she married David Witt. They had three children and moved to Bonita, Calif., where she lived until her death.
Toni worked for the Sweetwater School District as a health care assistant. She loved her job and everyone she worked with. Her passions were gardening and horses.
Toni was a strong, positive person. She never complained, even when her health failed. She was a good example to all of us.
She was preceeded in death by her grandparents, father Ray Foster, aunt Jean Winter, uncle Lester Regan, aunt Alma Foster, aunt Ardus Street and uncle Harold Street.
She is survived by her mother, Mitzi Bernard, of Spring Valley, Calif.; sister Teri Cooper and husband Jim, of Billings; former husband and life-long companion Dave Witt, of Bonita Calif.; children Karen Witt, of Kalispell, Gretchen Donais and husband Jon and their children Nicole, Amanda and Andrew, of Ramona, Calif., Matt Witt and wife Tracy and their children Camden and Ashtyn, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; aunt Iris Byrne, of Missoula; uncle Wally Foster, of Whitefish; uncle Bill Winter, of Kalispell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life was held Sept. 20, 2008, in Spring Valley, Calif.
