The Columbia Falls Lions Club meets at 6:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays each month at the Back Room, in the same building as the Nite Owl Restaurant. Contact a Lions Club member for information about joining the organization.
The River’s Edge Park committee meets April 2 at 7 p.m. in City Council chambers at City Hall.
Future grant possibilities for the park will be discussed.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

“Sunset Over Egypt” is the theme of the Flathead Valley Community Prom set for Friday, April 3 in the Columbia Falls High School gymnasium, sponsored by the junior class. Adults of the greater Flathead Valley are invited to the prom. Hours are 8 to 11 p.m.
The prom will feature a semi-formal evening of music and dancing to the Don Lawrence Orchestra and the Columbians of Columbia Falls High School.
“Sunset Over Egypt” is sponsored by the CFHS junior class and the Friends of School District 6.
There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.
The Junior Prom will be held Saturday, April 4, also in the high school gym.

A Spring Stimulus Party will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at Glacier Discovery Square. Admission is by a $2 donation. Half of the money collected at the doors goes into a share-the-pot raffle. Everyone is invited to bring food for a pot luck. Beverages will be available. The event is sponsored by the First Best Place Task Force.
