Jon Thomas Aubert "went home to Heaven to join his Father George J. Aubert" on Sunday, April 19, 2009.

Jon is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jane (McMaster) Aubert of Mesa Ariz.; and daughter, Sophia (Aubert) Reed; granddaughter, Taylor Reed, and grandson, Jake Reed, of Mesa; mother, Esther Aubert-Green, and step-father, Larry Green, of Overton, Nev.; sisters, Lyndell and Cy Mace of Billings, Lori and Carl Radabah of Coram, Sylvia Aubert of Swan Lake, and Teresa and Mike Johnson of Whitefish; and many nieces and nephews.

Jon was born in Kalispell on Aug. 17, 1948. He is a graduate of Columbia Falls High School class of 1967, then he proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Gompers, from 1968 until 1972.

After his service he married his long-time sweetheart, Jane McMaster, on Dec. 23, 1972. In 1982 the family moved to Mesa to start Jon's dental career. In 1997 Jon opened his own dental lab in Mesa.

Jon and Jane both belong to the Over the Hill Gang car club of Scottsdale and Phoenix, and are the proud owners of a 1934 Ford. His love for his car shows through it all.

The family requests a donation in lieu of flowers to the Hospice of The Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Mesa, AZ 85014-5656.

At Jon's request, his ashes will be scattered this summer in many of his favorite places in northern Montana.
