Jean Reithmeier Paul, 78

Jean Reithmeier Paul, age 78, of Bigfork, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. She was born on January 9, 1931 in Kansas City, Kan. to Darrell and Violet (Smith) Garrett.

She is survived by her husband; Robert 'Rip' Paul, two daughters; Janice Glenn and Kathryn Greenwood, four step sons; Robert Paul and wife Linda, Edward Paul, Fredrick Paul and Joseph Paul, several grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a brother, William Garrett and wife Opal; a sister, Rosemary Little and many other family members who care about her deeply.

Vernon E. Fredericks, 72

Vernon E. Fredericks, age 72, of Kila, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2008 at Brendan House in Kalispell, Montana. He was born May 27, 1937 to Alvin and Justine (Plaisted) Fredericks at the family home in Kila.

Vernon attended school in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High. He met and later married Dorothy Haag on December 22, 1967. They have two daughters Karen and Stephanie. Vern worked in the forest products industry most of his life and hauled for Stoltze Lumber for over 30 years. He loved walking in the woods and fishing was also a favorite pastime along with visiting his timber industry pals.

Vernon was preceded in death by his father Alvin, mother Justine, and brother Raymond.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy and two daughters; Karen Nersveen and husband Dan with his three grandsons Gunnar, Cade, and Bret; and daughter, Stephanie Houchins and her husband Jim; his sister Florence Mathiason, with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial service for Vernon was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2009 in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel. There will be no visitation.

Esther Araiza, 87

Esther Araiza, 87, of Lonsdale, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2009 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant, Ark. She was born on April 20, 1922 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Araiza and grandsons, Anthony Aguirre and Connor LeBeau.

She is survived by her children, June Aguirre of Indio, California, Jerry Araiza, Jr. of Victorville, California, Robert (Juli) Araiza of Lonsdale, Arkansas, Mario (Hilda) Araiza of Alta Loma, California, and Linda (Michael) LeBeau of Big Fork, Montana; her grandchildren, Paul, Manuel, Aguirre and Cynthia Surabian, Lesley Araiza, Emily (Brian) Kiner, Tami (Brian) Bean, John (Stacy) Araiza, Mario Araiza, Jr., Marcus Araiza, Tom Chavey, Eric Araiza and Aaron Araiza. Esther is also survived by her eighteen great-grandchildren, Paul, Marcus, Michael and Zachary Aguirre, Matthew and Jonathan Surabian, Andrew and Gabriel Araiza, Anthony and Andrew Bean, and Precious, Marcus, Jordyn, Cara, Bryce, Kennedy, Nicholas and Halo Araiza; as well as two godchildren, Irene Randall and Commie Stevens.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed working in her flower garden, loved her dog Precious, and cherished time spent with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice, 23157 Hwy I-30, Bryant, Arkansas 72022, who was so compassionate in her care as she awaited the Lord's timing or Benton First Church of the Nazarene, 1203 Sevier Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015, where Pastor Nathan Bienhoff was always so attentive to her spiritual needs

The family will receive friends and family at 3901 Highway 128 in Lonsdale, Arkansas on Sunday, August 16th from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m..
