Michele D. Rogers

Michele D. Rogers, 57, formerly of Montana, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at her home in Stockbridge, Vt.

She was born May 15, 1952, in San Mateo, Calif., the daughter of Frank and Connie (Olson) Resor.

Michele attended schools in Montana and California and graduated from Newark (Calif.) High School in 1970. She moved back to Montana, where she raised her children and was a dance instructor for 37 years. She moved to Stockbridge in 2002. She was known as the dancing waitress at the Peavine Restaurant in Stockbridge. Michele was a very giving person and was an active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Whitefish and Royalton, Vt.

She is survived by her mother and step-father Connie and Charles Bresee of Libby; a step-father Joe Rogers of California; her daughter Tiffany Brown of Stockbridge, Vt.; 2 sons, Brandon Rogers of Portland, Ore., and Keevin Rogers of Stockbridge, Vt.; 2 brothers, Timothy Rogers and Corey Rogers both of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 2 sisters, Casey Moniz and husband Monti of Libby, and Jolee Hayworth of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 4 grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Royalton, Vt. There were no calling hours.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Day Funeral Home, Randolph, Vt.
