Whitefish Assembly of God will present a special Christmas Eve program, “Christmas in Real Life,” at Whitefish Assembly of God, 1549 Karrow Avenue, on Thursday, Dec. 24, at 4:30 p.m. The program will include several Christmas musical selections by the adult Christmas Choir, as well as human videos and drama presentations. “Christmas in Real Life” will celebrate Christmas with all its real-life predicaments. The UAS Holiday Classic basketball tournament will take place Sunday, Dec. 27, at Whitefish High School starting at 9 a.m. The event will feature five-player teams made up of seventh- and eighth-grade boys from across the area. The Kalispell Area Music Teachers Association (KAMTA) will present its 10th annual Scholarship Alumni Concert in the Glacier High School auditorium on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. The program will feature Jordan Neiman, a third-year student at North Carolina School of the Arts. Neiman has been preparing for the eighth National Chopin Piano Competition and will perform pieces from his Chopin repertoire. Jenny Snipstead will sing three diverse selections, including two Spanish pieces. Kevin Allen-Schmid, choir director at Flathead High School, will accompany his former student. Performing as a flute trio will be Beth Pirrie, Deva Siblerud and Kristen Schuster. Tickets are adults $15, students $8 and families $35 available at the door or through KAMTA members.
