Columbia Falls wins State Speech and Debate title

Fourth consecutive Class A championship for Wildcats
Seventeen of the 26 students who competed were place winners, leading Columbia Falls to the Class A State Speech and Debate Tournament championship Friday and Saturday in Butte. It was the fourth consecutive state crown for the Wildcats, and their eighth state championship in the last 10 years.
CFHS finished with 134 points, outdistancing runner-up Whitefish, which had 92. It was the Bulldogs' second straight second-place finish at state.
