Thursday night's Senior Night didn't end in celebration for the Vikings (1-9 conference) as they took a 71-42 loss to Columbia Falls (4-5) for their final regular season game.

The Cats took control of the game from the tipoff with a 3-pointer and racked up another 17 during the first quarter while holding the Vikings to just five. Led by Jake Milner, Bigfork played more aggressive defense in the second quarter and caused some turnovers that they were able to turn into baskets to help them make a 12-5 run and ultimately outscore Columbia Falls 12-9. After closing the gap to 12 by the end of the first half, Bigfork let their game slip again and allowed the Cats to score 16 to their 11 in the third.

Columbia Falls put up 26 fourth quarter points and took away any chance Bigfork, who scored 14, had of making a fourth quarter comeback.

Scott Taylor led the Vikings with 10 points, eight of which he scored in the fourth quarter, and he grabbed eight rebounds. Jake Milner scored eight points and five rebounds. Brock Boll also had eight points.

Bigfork's junior varsity and freshman teams also took losses to the Cats, in their fourth and third loses of the season, respectively.

In the JV game the Vikes trailed 18-2 at the half, and despite a fourth quarter comeback, lost 41-34 to Columbia Falls. The freshman Vikings led 30-24 at the half, but after Columbia Falls out scored them 21-12 in the third they were unable to catch-up, and lost the game 66-63.
