B-ball fundraiser

On Friday, Feb. 13, the student councils of Whitefish and Columbia Falls high schools combined forces to participate in a fundraiser for Craig Finberg, a well known Columbia Falls alumnus.

Together with the Schwan’s Company and the outstanding support of both communities, more than $3,300 was raised through purchases of Schwan’s products and generous cash donations by those attending the boys and girls basketball games in Columbia Falls.

We would like to take this time to say thank you to everyone who supported our combined efforts this year, and we look forward to next year when a similar event will be held during the basketball games in Whitefish with another local person or cause to be the recipient.

Thank you again for the tremendous support you show to the schools in both communities.
