Sled Dog Days results

Two mushers from West Yellowstone won the two events at the second annual Flathead Sled Dog Days races this past weekend.

Overall winners were determined by combining the times from the Saturday and Sunday races. The races began in Olney and went up Stryker Ridge.

Rodeo Vincent won the 12-dog race, which covers a 36-mile long route. Charlotte Mooney won the 6-dog race, which covers a 24.5-mile route.

Local winners in the 12-dog race included Steve Riggs, Condon, third.

Local winners in the 6-dog race included Wendy Arrotta, Condon, second; Sara Parr, Whitefish, third, Scott Donaldson, Olney, fourth; and Butch Parr, Olney, seventh.
